Ubuntu Unity
It has been a while since I did a post. I recently installed the Ubuntu Operating System ver 11.04. I installed it as a partition on my portable hard drive so I could carry it around with me. I was looking for an OS specifically to install and run a development environment for my Arduino and other IDE’s to help with the debugging and creation of C code.
I originally tried using puppy linux, but this proved more difficult installing libraries and packages so I left that and moved onto Ubuntu. It come’s pre-installed with alot of applications and has an online applications repository. These include C/C++ IDE’s as well as the Arduino IDE. Will post some feedback once I get my internet up and running again and test it out.
